I gave birth to my daughter Christina 32 years ago today. Naturally this morning (and every year on this day), I wake up thinking about her.

I think about the beautiful life Christina is creating for herself, as well as my hopes for her life ahead. Happy, happy birthday Christina! I love you so very much.

Every day, in fact, starts and ends with thoughts and prayers for my children. I do the same for my grandchildren as well. I pray for their health, their safety, and their present and future lives. I also pray for myself and my ability to continue to mother them as adults.
