As the 86th Masters unveiled this week, we were rapt by one story: Tiger Woods making his anticipated—long, long anticipated—comeback.

After suffering severe injuries from an early 2021 car accident, an incident that was followed by public scorn, Woods is healed and playing forward with his head held high. This tremendous athlete stands for tenacity and hope.

We love a great comeback here at The Sunday Paper and will be cheering on Woods and his colleagues. Yippee! to him and to all who persevere.
