How are you this Sunday? How was your Thanksgiving? Did things go great, or not so much? Are you still traveling, or are you sitting at home trying to gather yourself and make sense of all that you heard, experienced, and felt at the dinner table? If your answer is the latter, then this quote from Thich Nhat Hanh might be just what you need:

“Go back and take care of yourself. Your body needs you, your feelings need you, your perceptions need you. Your suffering needs you to acknowledge it. Go home and be there for all these things.”

That’s right. Be there for all those things within you, but also be there for the good around you. Be there for the love, the joy, and the connection you felt. Be there for all of it, because there is room for a multitude of these things when we are living deeply meaningful lives.
