U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy recently released a Surgeon General's Advisory on the epidemic of loneliness and isolation facing our country, the destructive impacts it has on our collective health, and the extraordinary healing power of our relationships.
In this Instagram Live conversation, Dr. Murthy shared that he first realized his loneliness after he stopped working and had to have it pointed out to him. Loneliness comes in all shapes and forms, it can happen to everyone and anyone, and it will take all of us to work together to build greater social connections.
