At The Sunday Paper, we often discover books, podcasts, films, and other works that move the needle and spark inspiring change. This week, we are thrilled to hand the mic again to our Sunday Paper Plus readers! Our thanks to Eliz, Janey, and Vinny for their recommendations. We hope what they suggest below opens your heart and mind.

What Eliz Is Reading

As a White House aide, Cassidy Hutchinson had one of the closest viewpoints to former President Donald Trump. Now, the author tells what she heard and saw in her book, released this past September, Enough. Hutchinson's account is one of bone-chilling anecdotes and bravery about one of the most crisis-fueled times in America.

What Janey Is Watching

It's no secret how much the world loves author Bonnie Garmus's premiere novel. Now, thanks to Garmus's legions of fans, the story has evolved from the page to the screen in the new Apple TV+ show of the same name as the book, Lessons in Chemistry. This is a riveting series about women, society, gumption, and dreams. (If you want to learn more about the author, read our feature with her here.)

What Vinny Is Listening to

Former monk and current purpose coach Jay Shetty make meditation accessible and fun with The Daily Jay, his series of seven-minute daily meditation exercises on Calm. Shetty's approach and lessons are exactly what we need during these anxious times.
