At The Sunday Paper, we often discover books, podcasts, films, and other works that move the needle and spark inspiring change. This week, we are thrilled to hand the mic again to our Sunday Paper Plus readers! Our thanks to Christine, Katie, and Diana for their recommendations. We hope what they suggest below opens your heart and mind.

What Diana Daniele Is Reading

Zibby Owens, a friend of The Sunday Paper's, author, and owner of Zibby's Bookshop, has a new novel out, and we're thrilled Diana has recommended it. The novel follows Pippa, a writer who fears she will be a one-hit wonder and is facing writer's block. Pippa stares at her screen until she comes up with a brilliant idea that sets her on a series of unexpected turns. This story is about determination and imagination, and it's bright, inventive, and utterly fun.

What Katie Ryan Is Listening to

Kacey Musgraves, the country singer-songwriter, has released her fifth album of original songs, 'Deeper Well.' It's a beautiful contemplation of kindness, thoughtfulness, and love. Musgraves, who has a poetic voice, sings about learning to find self-sufficiency and finding the small pleasures in life. Each track lends itself to the next. We're thrilled Katie put this in front of us. 'Deeper Well' is perfect for a Sunday morning.

What Christine Williams Is Watching

We kept hearing that the new Peacock series Apples Never Fall, based on Liane Moriarty’s New York Times bestselling novel, was the show to watch. Well, we understand why. 'Apples Never Fall' tells the story of the tennis-centric Delaney family, played by Annette Bening and Sam Neil, who have sold their tennis academy to spend more time with their grown children. All seems steady, until a knock on their door changes everything. A story of a tried marriage, family dynamics, self-evolution, and so much more ensues. Simply put, this is a show to watch. Christine, thank you for this rec!
