Every morning before my feet touch the ground, I pray to God for guidance, strength, and support. I also give thanks for my life, my health, my children, my home, and the gift of another day. I do this practice every single morning without fail. In fact, I can't start my days anymore without checking in.

The other morning during this morning ritual, an image popped into my mind and into my prayers that I hadn’t seen before. It was one that took me by surprise and that instantly brought up a lot of emotions in me.

At first, I tried to push it to the back of my mind, but it wouldn't go away. It kept recurring and taking up space. And so, I decided to simply let it be. I allowed the image to stay in my heart and on my mind, believing it must be coming to me for a reason.
