Today is the day! It’s my last day with you here for a bit.

Tomorrow I head for my annual summer leave. I’ll be out of the office, away from social media and email, and away from my work responsibilities at The Sunday Paper, MOSH, The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement, and NBC. Whew!

This coming month, I’ll be stepping off the elevator that carries me from one meeting to another and my work wheels will come to a halt. Now, if I’m being honest, the wheels in my mind will not stop turning during my time off. But the pace of my life will slow a bit nonetheless, and that’s a good thing.
