Pop Star Lizzo Honored These Architects of Change With a Mission to Amplify Their Fights for Social Justice

We are loving Lizzo’s speech and the radical inclusivity she showcased at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. Upon receiving the People's Champion Award for breaking barriers and elevating others, the lauded singer and songwriter celebrated by bringing 17 activists to join her on stage. “Give them their flowers!” she exclaimed, while shouting out their organizations and causes.
