Beloved actress Kyra Sedgwick finds herself embarking on a new chapter, driven by her desire to further prove herself despite an already long-standing and incredibly successful career, and still values career guidance from her 91-year-old mother.

Sedgwick reflected on her mother's career shift at the age of 50, which coincidentally aligns with her own venture into directing at the same age, "She used to say, 'You can change your career at any time—don't let anybody tell you that you can't.' It's excellent advice, regardless of the industry you're in. Despite never wearing any makeup, she radiates beauty. She's a true force."
