This week, we're excited to highlight one of our very own Sunday Paper Plus members and readers. In 2019, Torin Brazzle founded IGNITE! Alabama to combat the lack of access to resources and support that Black and Female entrepreneurs often have.

IGNITE! Alabama ensures that these minority entrepreneurs get access to capital (federal, state, and local funding), explore high-growth industries, receive education on securing and executing contracts, and much more.

“I created an organization to challenge in love, with respect, and help my Black community focus on the thing that we can change, stop complaining and blaming, and throw all of our energy into doing what we can to help ourselves, our families, and our communities,” Brazzle shared with The Sunday Paper community.

The W.K Kellogg Foundation invested a $600K seed grant into Brazzle's vision back in 2020, and we are excited to see where she will bring entrepreneurs in Alabama next as she continues to inspire hearts and minds and move humanity forward.
