Meet Hot Mess Express, the Nonprofit Organization Creating a Judgement-Free Community of Women Helping Women
We all find ourselves in a funk sometimes. Thankfully, the women of Hot Mess Express offer their hands and hearts to moms in their communities struggling to get out of a funk. This nonprofit, women-led organization was founded by Jen Hamilton, a nurse and married mom of two who recognized the overwhelming need moms have for a support system. The organization started in North Carolina in 2021 and has since grown across the United States. Through TikTok, Jen has been able to share the Hot Mess message and the impact it is having on people’s lives. See this recent post of a rescue mission for a mom suffering from early-onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Their primary focus is on empowering and supporting women. A Mission is an individual chosen by a chapter for their outstanding potential to significantly benefit from support in cleaning and organizing and someone who is seeking a fresh start in their home. Hot Mess Express helps with dishes, laundry, and basic cleaning, but they also help with friendship, bad dance moves while organizing, giving moms a break, and so much more!
