Fans Show Their Love for NFL Star Damar Hamlin by Supporting His Charity for Kids

After Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest on the field on January 2, fans have donated over $8 million to support a toy drive Hamlin initiated in 2020. Last year, Hamlin launched a similar toy drive for Christmas. We are touched by his fan's and the nation's unwavering love for Hamlin and the Bills, as well as Hamlin's love for children.

Upon donating, fans left supporting messages for the wonderful young man they can’t wait to see on the field again.“Lifelong Jets fan who will never root harder for any player than this young Bill,” one fan commented on GoFundMe. “Sending healing thoughts and prayers from Ravens Nation! We are all rooting for the Bills right now! Get well soon!” another fan wrote.

Surrounded by love, Hamlin entered stable condition on January 6, and he attended the team meeting on FaceTime. “Love you boys,” he said on the call. We continue to pray for Hamlin’s speedy recovery!
