Ever since the family announced actor Bruce Willis’ frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in February, the paparazzi has not been giving Willis space when he is in public. In response, his wife Emma Heming Willis asked the paparazzi to respect their privacy and allow Bruce to “be able to participate in his life to the fullest.”

The Sunday Paper is giving a shout out to Emma for using her voice to not only raise awareness for FTD, but equally as important for raising her voice for her husband’s right to privacy. “I’m always going to advocate for my husband,” Willis said in another Instagram video. We invite you to send love and support to Emma and to caregivers of those diagnosed with FTD.

You can watch Emma’s Instagram video below and read more about her determination to protect Bruce and give voice to other caregivers on Insider.
