The other day, my daughter Katherine said to me: “For someone who every year talks about doing less, streamlining their life, and simplifying, I’ve never seen you doing more or being busier than you are right now.”

Ouch!

Her comment got my attention. It stung because I knew she was telling me the truth.

At the start of this year, I spoke about simplifying, streamlining, and taking better care of myself by slowing down. I’ve done none of the above.
