Oscar-winning actress and star of Alaska Daily Hilary Swank revealed on Good Morning America this past week that she is pregnant with twins—and we couldn’t be happier for the first-time expecting mom. Swank, 48, says motherhood is something she’s been dreaming of for a long time.

"It's such a blessing. It's a total miracle. It's unbelievable," she said when announcing that she and her husband of four years, Philip Schneider, would be expanding their family.

Swank added that twins run in both of their families, and she is now in her second trimester. As she looks forward to this next phase of life, she says, "It's so nice to be able to talk about it and share it."
