Good morning to you. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I hope you also find yourself feeling joyful, peaceful, grateful, and rested after this long holiday weekend.

If you don’t, that’s okay too. Just take a moment to breathe and collect yourself. We will wait for you.

Socrates once said, “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

Well, my friends, we are living “in the new.” We’re in a new holiday season. We are approaching a new year. The hostages who were released this weekend are now living in the new (thank God for that). And the you who is reading this, well…you are new too. Think about it. You are not the same as you were at this time last year. How could you be? If you were, that would mean that life didn’t impact you at all this past year. You aren’t even the same as you were yesterday.
